I decided to go o the Sunshine Skyway Bridge hoping to get some great shots of the bridge at night with the trailing lights of the cars going up and down......however that did not work out to well seeing how I could not get the right spot without getting completely wet and risking my equipment.
So after a few feeble attempts I looked to the left....in the far distance a storm was brewing...and getting close by the minute.....it did not take long before lightning was hitting the Tampa Skyline so I starting shooting......the one was the best one of all! I love the lightning above the clouds and shooting out below.....the sky was an orange red which just added more drama to the photographs. I hope you enjoy!

Amazing shot! I have tried many times, without much luck, to shoot lightning. I am definitely going to try doing it again using your steps outlined in your first blog post. Thanks for posting this.
